Award-winning artisan leatherwork, expertly made in Devon

At Warriner Leather, I create timeless belts, bags, dog collars, leads, and saddlery using oak-bark tanned hides from Britain’s last remaining oak bark tannery. Every piece is made with traditional saddlery techniques and designed to last a lifetime — growing richer with age. My work is for people who value authenticity, sustainability, and craftsmanship over mass-produced goods, choosing pieces built to be worn, loved, and passed on.

A classic large leather trug designed for big adventures and daily life alike — perfect for gardeners gathering cut flowers, foragers roaming the woods, farmers’ market shoppers filling up with seasonal produce, or makers carrying tools and craft supplies.

Introducing the Large Forager’s Trug, my spacious and sturdy take on the traditional gardener’s trug — thoughtfully handcrafted to hold generous harvests, bunches of herbs, armfuls of vegetables or fresh sourdough, thermos and picnic blanket for an afternoon on the moors.

With its robust build and timeless style, this handmade leather garden basket is as practical in the flower garden as it is at the farmers’ market or allotment — and equally suited for carrying woodworking tools, chisels, or craft essentials from workshop to shed.

A design for life

Founded in 2018, Warriner Leather combines traditional craftsmanship with a passion for durable, timeless leather goods. With over 12 years of experience as a leatherworker, saddler, and harness maker, I handcraft each belt, bag, dog collar, and saddlery piece using locally sourced oak-bark tanned leather, waxed linen threads, and solid brass hardware.

Crafted with Care, Tradition & Sustainability

Each item tells a story — from local farms raising the cattle to UK tanneries producing sustainable hides. My goal is to create heirloom-quality leather goods that blend function, tradition, and the enduring artistry of artisan UK leatherwork, designed to last a lifetime
