A DESIGN FOR LIFE

Founded in 2018, Warriner Leather was born from a passion for traditional craftsmanship and a commitment to creating durable, timeless heritage leather goods. With over 12 years of experience as a master harness maker, I handcraft each piece using vegetable‑tanned leather sourced locally here in Devon, paired with waxed linen threads and solid brass hardware.

Leather tells a story — from the local farmers who raise the cattle to the skilled British tanneries that produce the finest sustainable hides. Each handmade leather bag, belt, or bespoke harness I create carries this legacy, crafted with care, precision, and sustainability in mind. My goal is to make heirloom‑quality leather goods that last a lifetime, blending function, tradition, and the enduring artistry of fine UK leatherwork

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Every piece I make is crafted by hand with care, precision, and purpose. I believe in creating heritage leather goods that are made to last, designed to age with grace, and carry meaning over time. Quality, longevity, and attention to detail guide every step of my artisan leatherwork. Craftsmanship, to me, is a quiet promise: to make with integrity, using the finest vegetable-tanned leather, and to make it well here in my Devon workshop

TRADITION

My work is rooted in traditional leathercraft, shaped by generations of knowledge passed down through British leatherworking heritage. I stay true to time-honoured harness making techniques, giving them fresh life through thoughtful design. Each stitch and cut tells the story of pride, skill, and respect for the craft. Tradition isn’t something I follow — it’s something I continue, with care and intention, through every handmade leather piece I create.

EDUCATION

I believe knowledge creates deeper connections — to craft, to materials, and to meaning. Through my leathercraft courses and leatherwork workshops here in Devon, I pass on traditional skills to beginners and fellow makers. Sharing more than just technique, I empower people to understand, create, and value the materials they use — keeping true artisan leatherwork alive for the next generation

CONNECTION

Connection begins with understanding. I start conversations about where our sustainable leather comes from, building bridges between local farming, skilled UK tanneries, and thoughtful design. By working closely with local suppliers and transparent supply chains, I help foster a culture of respect — for the land, the craft, and the people behind every handmade leather bag, belt, or bespoke harness
